The summer school revolves around Gromov-Witten invariants, both from an algebraic geometric and symplectic topological perspectives. It is aimed at Master and early PhD students; the format is that of two mini-courses, accompanied by one exercise session each, as well as three talks by invited speakers.
The two minicourses will be ensured by Amanda Hirschi and by Jérémy Guéré. The three accompanying talks will be given by Thomas Blomme, Thomas Guidoni and Gurvan Mével. More informations coming soon!
All lectures take place at the campus "Lombarderie/Michelet" of the University of Nantes, in the Room 112 at the bottom floor of Building 26. Here is the approximate address of the building, and here is a detailed plan of the campus to precisely locate it. Lunch will be at the university cafeteria, at the campus "Tertre", at the building denoted "RU Tertre" in this map.

Lunch at the university cafeteria will be covered for all participants. One collective dinner at a restaurant will also be offered for all participants. On the other hand, we unfortunately do not have enough funds to cover for travel and accommodation expenses, so we invite all the participants to search for some funding. (This said, c.f. later section about registration.)
Nantes has an international airport and a train station that is well connected to Paris. (Note that Google Maps might not have accurate data on local transportation within Nantes; you can look up itineraries on the Naolib webpage.) Whereas the train station is located right in the city center, the airport is further away, and there are two options to get back to civilization from there.
Registrations are now closed.
